Founded in 2017 by veterinarian Dr. Carol Yeisley, NAPS & Rescues is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a simple but powerful goal: to provide a lifeline of medical care to shelter and rescue animals across Northern Arizona.

Our Story: A Lifelong Commitment to Healing
The story of NAPS & Rescues begins with the lifelong dedication of its founder, Dr. Carol Yeisley. For many years, long before our organization had a name, Dr. Yeisley personally funded and provided veterinary services to countless animals in need. Her commitment took her everywhere from spay/neuter clinics on Native American reservations to wildlife rehabilitation centers in Pennsylvania, where she was a licensed rehabilitator specializing in birds of prey.
